SALT LAKE CITY (January 12, 2026) — The Salt Lake City Stars, official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, return home to host the Austin Spurs (San Antonio affiliate) in a two-game series at the Maverik Center, marking the first meeting between the teams this season in a rematch of 2025 playoff opponents.
Tuesday’s game also marks the second West Valley City Night, presented by University of Utah Health, celebrating West Valley City’s unique culture and heritage. University of Utah Health will also host a replica West Valley City jersey giveaway for the first 500 fans in attendance. The jerseys draw inspiration from the historic Bonneville Raceway, a motorsports complex established in the late 1960s that became a centerpiece of Utah motorsports. The uniform colors reflect West Valley City’s official palette and feature racing stripes symbolizing the raceway’s 3,000-foot drag strip.
In conjunction with West Valley City Night, the Stars will host their second “Trading Card Night” of the season in partnership with The Cardboard Exchange TCG. Fans can browse booths featuring sports memorabilia, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and other collectibles from 16 local vendors. The event will take place courtside and run throughout the game, and a ticket provides access to both the Stars game and card show space.
Thursday’s matchup is headlined by the debut of “ABA Throwback Night,” presented by Nu Skin, celebrating the Utah Stars and their 1971 ABA Championship. Nu Skin will host a replica ABA throwback jersey giveaway for the first 500 fans through the doors. On the court, the Stars will debut ABA-inspired throwback uniforms modeled after the original Utah Stars jerseys.
The game-used player jerseys for both “West Valley City Night” and “ABA Throwback Night” will be auctioned off later this season. Specific details will be provided at a later date.
