SLC Stars Announce Collaboration with NBA Paint in Uniform Redesign

First 300 Fans to Receive Exclusive SLC Stars X NBA Paint Hats

SALT LAKE CITY (January 17, 2024) — The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, announced today their collaboration with the viral NBA Paint brand to redesign the team’s uniforms for their game on Jan. 19 at the Maverik Center when the Stars will face off against the Oklahoma City Blue (Oklahoma City Thunder affiliate).

NBA Paint has grown in popularity thanks to their comical graphic design rebrands of all 30 NBA teams. During Summer 2023, every NBA team temporarily utilized their NBA Paint re-branded logo on team social platforms, which featured unique and simplistic designs that take inspiration from the organizations’ logo and colors. The collaboration with the Salt Lake City Stars marks the brand’s second time designing a game-worn uniform and simultaneously working with an NBA G League team, having worked with the Cleveland Charge (Cavaliers affiliate) for a game last season. 

The Stars will unveil their new uniforms, designed by NBA Paint, on Jan. 19, and each player uniform will be available for auction on the Stars social media accounts, @slcstars, immediately following the conclusion of the contest.

The first 300 fans to arrive will receive exclusive SLC Stars X NBA Paint hats. The game will tip off at 7 pm MT and be broadcast LIVE on Jazz+ and NBAGleague.com
