SALT LAKE CITY (October 22, 2026) — The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, announced today the organization’s plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the team’s move to Utah and rebrand as the Stars. With two G League Winter Showcase Championships, more than two dozen NBA player call-ups, and numerous coaching and staff advancements in their first 10 seasons, the Stars will recognize significant events in the franchise’s history in Utah throughout this milestone season.

To tip off the celebration, fans will be welcomed back to the Maverik Center on Nov. 29 for a 10th Anniversary Celebration Night. The Stars will take on the San Diego Clippers, G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Clippers. Throughout the duration of the game there will be a variety of unique fan activations and a special giveaway to commemorate the first 10 seasons of Stars Basketball.

“Beyond the wins and NBA player and staff development, the Stars have provided countless fan memories and experiences throughout our first 10 seasons,” said Stars and SLC Summer League president Jonathan Rinehart. “From hosting local elementary school students at our annual Kids Day games to all the families who attend our games season after season, we are extremely grateful to everyone who has played a part in our first 10 seasons in Utah and look forward to making more unforgettable memories in the future.”

As part of the recognition, the team is also debuting a special-edition 10th anniversary logo that will be used throughout the season. The design incorporates the primary Stars logo set against a bold Roman numeral X, representing the team’s 10 seasons in Utah, along with a banner noting their establishment in 2016.
