The Salt Lake City Stars will resume NBA G League play on Jan. 5, 2022, following the NBA G League’s announcement today that the start of the 36-game NBA G League regular season will now be Jan. 5.

The Salt Lake City Stars were originally scheduled to play five games, including four home games on Dec. 27, Dec. 29, Jan. 1 and Jan. 3.

All tickets purchased and held for Stars home games between Dec. 27 and Jan. 3 will be honored for the rescheduled game dates that will be announced in the near future. Fans with additional questions may contact the Stars Ticket Office (by phone or text) at (801) 325-STAR (7827) for more information.

The decision to delay the start of the regular season was made by the NBA G League office in an effort to allow teams the opportunity to safely return players to market after the Christmas holiday and to replenish their rosters following NBA Call-Ups.

The next Stars home game is scheduled for Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. against the Memphis Hustle at Bruin Arena at Salt Lake Community College in Taylorsville.
