Stars Finalize Training Camp Roster

SALT LAKE CITY (October 28, 2019) – The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, have set their 2019 training camp roster, which is comprised of 16 players. Stars training camp begins today, with Media Day set for Thursday, Oct. 31, at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

The Stars’ roster is highlighted by Jazz two-way players Jarrell Brantley and Justin Wright-Foreman, in addition to affiliate players Trevon Bluiett, William Howard, Juwan Morgan and Mike Scott, who were members of Jazz training camp.

Kyle Collinsworth and Rodney Pryor join the roster via trade with the Raptors 905. An NBA veteran, Collinsworth appeared in 32 games with Dallas in 2017-18 and owns three seasons of NBA G League experience. Pryor brings two seasons of NBA G League experience to Salt Lake City.

The roster also includes: returning players (Tre’Shaun Fletcher, Isaac Haas and Alonzo Nelson-Ododa); three 2019 NBA G League Draft selections (Kyle Castlin, Shawn Occeus and Conner Toolson); and two local player tryout invitees (Malik Benlevi and Cornelius Hudson).

The Stars’ 2019-20 season tips-off on Sunday, Nov. 10 at Sioux Falls at 2 p.m. (MT). The team will host their home opener on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. (MT) vs. Rio Grande Valley at Bruin Arena on the campus of Salt Lake Community College in Taylorsville.
