Salt Lake City Stars to Hold Local Tryouts on Sept. 30

SALT LAKE CITY (August 24, 2017) – The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, announced today that they will host an open tryout for prospective players on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The 2017 Salt Lake City Stars Tryouts, presented by University of Utah Health, will be held at the Bruin Arena on the Salt Lake Community College Taylorsville Campus (4600 South Redwood Road) from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

This event gives NBA G League hopefuls the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Stars and Jazz personnel. Participants should be prepared for team drills, individual skill work and scrimmages. Players will be vying for an invitation to the Stars training camp in October.

Walk-up registration will be subject to availability and require a $200 non-refundable registration fee at the door. Tryout spots are limited, so interested participants are strongly encouraged to preregister.
