Salt Lake City Stars Acquire Michale Kyser

SALT LAKE CITY (November 25, 2016) – The Salt Lake City Stars announced that they have acquired forward Michale Kyser, whose returning player rights were originally acquired by the team via a trade with the Raptors 905 on Oct. 30. In a related move, Salt Lake City has waived forward Eric Dawson.

Kyser (6-9, 205, Louisiana Tech) appeared in 43 games (three starts) for the Raptors 905 during the 2015-16 season, averaging 3.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game in his rookie campaign.

Dawson (6-9, 250, Midwestern State) appeared in two games (two starts) for the Stars, averaging 6.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game before injuring his right foot.

The team heads to Texas to face the Legends on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 6:30 p.m. MT. The game will be streamed via Facebook Live.

The Stars return home to host the Northern Arizona Suns on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Lifetime Activities Center-Bruin Arena. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
