McGrew appeared in 21 games (four starts) with the Stars last season, averaging 10.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

McGrew played in two games during the 2019 Salt Lake City Summer League. He also saw action in five games at the 2019 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with the Jazz, averaging 6.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per contest.
