Stars Complete Trade with Blue

The Salt Lake City Stars announced today that they have acquired the returning player rights to guard Michael Qualls from the Oklahoma City Blue in exchange for the returning player rights to Marcus Paige.

Qualls (6-6, 205, Arkansas) played for Hapoel Galil Gilboa in the Israeli Basketball Super League during the 2016-17 season. He appeared in 33 games (25 starts), averaging 13.7 points per game, 4.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

The 23-year-old played three seasons at Arkansas (2012-15) and was named NABC All-District Second Team, Second Team All-SEC and SEC All-Tournament Team in his final season of play.

Paige (6-0, 164, North Carolina) appeared in 46 games (40 starts) for the Stars last season, averaging 12.0 points and 2.2 assists in 32.8 minutes per game.
