Salt Lake City Stars Unveil New Nike Jerseys

By Alex Lowry | October 16, 2017

The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, today revealed the design for its new home and road uniforms for the 2017-18 season in partnership with the NBA G League’s new agreement with Nike as the official apparel provider.

The new Nike NBA G League uniforms were created with special attention to enabling agility and range of motion while also paying tribute to the NBA parent teams. The most significant design advancements are to the scapula line of the jerseys where Nike designers altered the construction for a vastly improved fit. Additionally, the hemlines on the bottom of the shorts were modified to allow for greater range of motion.

This year’s jersey editions will feature the player’s name and number in the same font as the Jazz. The jersey will also include the NBA G League logo on the left chest and back neckline as well as the right hip of the shorts. Theneck trim and side inserts will highlight the unique identity of the Stars. The shorts will feature the Jazz logo on the left side with the Stars logo positioned on the right short insert.

Fans will be able to get their first look at the newly designed jerseys during the team’s home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
